Ati Radeon 4850 For Mac
Apple Boot Camp Software Graphics Drivers. MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, 2015-Present) iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017-Present) iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2014-2019) iMac Pro (2017-Present) Mac Pro (2013) Boot Camp Unified Driver R3 for Windows 10 Display Driver AMD Radeon Settings. I have a 4850 (also have 2x2GB dual channel ram modules) and I wasn't able to do much. I was tring it out through a Virtual Box install of BSD. Xorg -configure Crashed to a black screen every time; and configured to VESA; running '# Xorg -config /root/xorg.conf.new' would infact load & startx would load twm - though using only the VESA; radeon.

Hi,
I just bought an ATI Radeon 4850 HD Graphics card for my Mac Pro 1,1 running OS X Lion 10.7.5. I did so much research before and got very lost trying to find out which graphics cards were both compatible with my Mac and would also work for Final Cut Pro X. I thought this one ticked both boxes.
Now I'm about to try and install it - and everything I've found online seem very complicated.
Have I bought a card that is incompatible?! If so, any suggestions on another to buy instead would be really appreciated!
